'Stars Wars' movie hits DVD on Nov. 1

LOS ANGELES (AP) - "Star Wars" fans might want to set aside Nov. 1 for a reunion with the Skywalker clan. That's when the final installment, "Revenge of the Sith," hits DVD, allowing fans to watch all six movies in George Lucas' epic at home.
 
Spielberg's Olympic saga titled 'Munich'

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Steven Spielberg's next film finally has a title: "Munich." DreamWorks and Universal, which are co-financing the movie, announced the name Monday for the long-untitled thriller, which centers on the aftermath of the killings of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics in Munich, Germany.
 
Gibson plans another historical epic

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Mel Gibson is planning another historical epic. And like "The Passion of the Christ," it will be shot in an archaic tongue. The writer-director plans an October starting date to shoot "Apocalypto," set 500 years ago in Central America, his spokesman, Alan Nierob, said Monday.
 
Man convicted in Diaz topless photos case

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A photographer who took topless pictures of Cameron Diaz before she became a star was convicted of forgery, attempted grand theft and perjury Monday for a scheme to sell the images back to the actress 11 years later for millions of dollars.
