SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) - A judge on Tuesday prevented O.J. Simpson from receiving any further compensation from a canceled book deal and TV interview, and ordered the bundled book rights to be auctioned off.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Richard Jeni committed suicide after being diagnosed earlier this year with clinical depression and suffering bouts of psychotic paranoia, the late comic's family said Tuesday.

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. (AP) - Betty Hutton, the brassy blonde star of "Annie Get Your Gun," was buried Tuesday with a handful of mourners in attendance. She was laid to rest in a gray-and-pink metal casket at Forest Lawn Cathedral City, where stars such as Frank Sinatra and Sonny Bono are interred.
