PHOENIX (AP) - Luis Gonzalez drove in the go-ahead run with his 499th career double and Arizona rallied to snap the Colorado Rockies' four-game winning streak, 5-4 Wednesday night in front 18,664 _ the smallest home crowd in the Diamondbacks' nine-year history.

ST. LOUIS (AP) - In Little League, Jim Edmonds would have excitedly told his parents about the grand slam he hit. Edmonds circled the bases after a pair of errors on a three-run double in a pivotal at-bat in the fifth inning, helping the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Milwaukee Brewers 8-3 Wednesday night. Teammates joked in the dugout that he needed to go out for a curtain call.

Phillies beat Braves, get second win

ATLANTA (AP) - Aaron Rowand homered for the first time since coming over to the Philadelphia Phillies. He was more excited about a defensive play. Rowand hit a two-run homer, Pat Burrell also homered and the Phillies won for only the second time this season, beating the Atlanta Braves 7-5 Wednesday night.
