LOS ANGELES (AP) - Aaron Sele began the season in the minor leagues, with no guarantee he'd be pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He's pitching for them now as a key member of their rotation. Sele worked seven shutout innings, Jeff Kent and Rafael Furcal had three hits each, and the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 7-1 Wednesday night for their seventh straight victory.
 
Andruw Jones hits 2 homers in Braves' win

SAN DIEGO (AP) - One night after Chipper Jones lamented Atlanta's inability to score runs in San Diego, the Braves gave Petco Park and the Padres' pitching staff a good workout. Andruw Jones hit a pair of two-run homers and Chipper Jones had four singles and scored three runs to lead the Braves to a 10-6 win over the Padres on Wednesday night.
 
Big Papi fans 4 times as Yankees beat Sox

BOSTON (AP) - Kyle Farnsworth couldn't have put himself in a much scarier situation _ bases loaded and Big Papi at the plate. Farnsworth struck out David Ortiz in the eighth _ the fourth time the slugger fanned Wednesday night _ and New York held on to beat the Boston Red Sox 8-6, overcoming another rocky outing by Randy Johnson.
