DENVER (AP) - Matt Holliday blasted a 3-run homer to deep center field and the Colorado Rockies rallied for six runs with two outs in the bottom of the fourth to chase Arizona rookie Micah Owens and take a 6-1 lead over the Diamondbacks through six innings in Game 4 of the NL championship series on Monday night.

CLEVELAND (AP) - The $103 million man has been almost worthless for Boston in the playoffs. Daisuke Matsuzaka failed for the second straight time to make it out of the fifth inning in the postseason. His bust of a start resulted in a 4-2 loss to Cleveland on Monday night that put the Red Sox down 2-1 in the AL championship series.
 
Angels GM Stoneman expected to step down

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Bill Stoneman, who built the Angels' only World Series championship team, is expected to step down after eight years as general manager. The Angels called a news conference for Tuesday morning for what they described as a major announcement.
