Column: Dungy stoic after disappointment
Jan 15 2006 7:42PM (CT)
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Tony Dungy's expression never changed. He took his hands off his hips every so often and folded his arms across his chest. He wore out a path on the sideline between the 40-yard lines, bit his lip now and then and patiently lectured an official on several occasions.

Column: Ugly ending for this dynasty
Jan 15 2006 1:42AM (CT)
DENVER (AP) - The dynasty ended in an ugly manner, as dynasties tend to do. Tom Brady couldn't save this one, and neither could all the coaching genius on the sideline. The New England Patriots didn't disintegrate Saturday night under the pressure of a three-peat or the difficulty of winning a playoff game before a hostile crowd. They didn't fall apart because of nerves or a bad coaching plan.
