Colts giddy after getting rings

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - It was enough to make even the toughest NFL players giddy. The blue horseshoe. The Lombardi Trophy in the middle of the Colts' logo. Even a red ruby to represent the figurative blood shed by the Colts over the course of the season. And, of course, the Super Bowl rings were all handed out Wednesday night on _ what else? _ a silver platter.

So, while the Steelers were holding a voluntary team workout Tuesday at Heinz Field _ spending a day away from their practice complex _ their quarterback was remembering where he was a year ago to the day.

Titans' Jones accepts NFL suspension

NEW YORK (AP) - Adam "Pacman" Jones dropped his appeal of a yearlong suspension Tuesday, pledging to repair an image that made the Tennessee Titans cornerback the poster child for NFL misconduct.
