MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Kansas City defensive tackle Junior Siavii and teammate Greg Wesley were arrested after allegedly getting into a drunken confrontation with police in a downtown Minneapolis hotel early Sunday.

The Cardinals' defense showed up as well Saturday night _ as long as the regulars were in. It added up to a 13-11 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, who are 0-3 against the Cardinals in exhibition games but 53-27-1 in the regular season.

"In Memory of Big K," it reads, honoring the beloved right tackle who died four years ago from heatstroke. There was no way for trainers to monitor players' core temperatures on that sweltering July day when Stringer collapsed, no definitive way to tell that his massive body was overheating beyond its threshold.
 
Crennel debuts with 17-14 win over Giants

CLEVELAND (AP) - The Romeo Crennel era began with a bang, some booms and more than a few bolts. Cleveland's first-year coach had his debut diluted by some severe weather that caused a lengthy delay, but he got his first exhibition win as the Browns rallied for a 17-14 win over the New York Giants on Saturday night.
