Ricky Williams shines in Dolphins victory

MIAMI (AP) - While two rookie running backs from Auburn showed promise, Ricky Williams showed his old form. Williams rushed for 59 yards, all in the opening half, and scored the first touchdown of the exhibition season for Miami's first-team offense, helping the Dolphins beat Tampa Bay 17-14 Saturday night.

Joe Nedney kicked three field goals against his former Tennessee teammates, including the game-winning 24-yarder with 2:09 left in overtime, and the 49ers beat the Titans 16-13 Friday night in San Francisco's first game since Herrion's death.

Raiders remain winless in preseason

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Randy Moss finally scored his first touchdown for the Raiders, and it almost seemed he didn't know what to do when it happened. A wide-open Moss caught a 40-yard TD pass from Kerry Collins, but the Raiders remained winless in the preseason with a 17-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Friday night.
