Terrell Owens to release children's book

DALLAS (AP) - Terrell Owens has learned the importance of playing nice _ at least in print. The outspoken Dallas receiver is set to release his first children's book in mid-November. But the book, titled "Little T Learns to Share," will be a far cry from the tell-all book T.O. released in July.

Gurode accepts apology from Haynesworth

IRVING, Texas (AP) - Cowboys center Andre Gurode is scarred, sore and still getting used to the bulky padding on his forehead after being cut up by the right cleat of Tennessee's Albert Haynesworth. He also has accepted Haynesworth's apology, even though he still doesn't understand why it happened.

But if there's a repeat of what he saw Sunday against the New York Jets, Dungy says won't hesitate to employ a new version of the Colts base offense by substituting players and snapping the ball before defenses can make comparable changes.

Titans reevaluate Haynesworth options

(AP) - Albert Haynesworth is seeking forgiveness from anyone who's seen a TV replay of the Tennessee defensive tackle smashing his cleated foot onto the face of Dallas center Andre Gurode. In other words, just about everyone. And now that Haynesworth knows he won't face criminal charges, he must convince his bosses at the Titans that he deserves to return.
