Testaverde costs Jets; Falcons win 27-14

ATLANTA (AP) - Vinny Testaverde looked every bit like a 41-year-old quarterback. Testaverde fumbled three times in the first 17 1/2 minutes, leading to two touchdowns, and the Falcons dealt New York another road loss, beating the Jets 27-14 on Monday night.

Arena Football to resume on Jan. 27

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - The Green Bay Packers are losing playmakers even faster than they're losing games. Running back Ahman Green is the latest casualty. He was lost for the season with a ruptured right thigh tendon Sunday, when the Packers blew a 17-point lead and lost to the NFL's most beleaguered team, the Minnesota Vikings.
