Bettis' father dies of heart attack

WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Johnnie Bettis, the father of retired NFL running back Jerome Bettis, died Tuesday at a suburban Detroit hospital of an apparent heart attack, police said.
