SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Vince Carter pulled up from about 30 feet and made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the New Jersey Nets to a 116-115 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night, ending the Nets' five-game road trip with back-to-back victories.

Pargo the closer as Hornets beat Blazers

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Jannero Pargo was the Hornets' closer. Pargo scored 12 consecutive points in the fourth quarter for New Orleans and David West had 21 points and 10 rebounds to help the Hornets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 103-91 on Monday night.
