INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Danny Granger was looking forward to facing Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. Granger scored 14 points, but it was his defense on Bryant that stood out as the Indiana Pacers beat the Lakers 95-84 on Friday night.

The reigning rookie of the year had 24 points and eight assists, and sparked a fourth-quarter rally Friday night to help the Hornets put away the Minnesota Timberwolves 90-83.
