SAN ANTONIO (AP) - If the San Antonio Spurs were the forgotten team in the Western Conference race earlier this season, there is no overlooking them now. The Spurs won their 13th straight Tuesday night, beating the Los Angeles Clippers 93-84. They haven't lost since Feb. 11.

CHICAGO (AP) - Ben Wallace and Tyrus Thomas made the Boston Celtics pay for ignoring them. Wallace had 19 points and 16 rebounds, Thomas scored a career-high 23 points, and the Chicago Bulls beat the Celtics 95-87 on Tuesday night.
 
Pacers on longest losing skid since 1989

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Mired in their longest skid in 18 years, the Indiana Pacers are finding new ways to lose every night. Their streak hit 10 straight defeats on Tuesday night thanks to a fourth-quarter collapse and a 6-foot-11 point guard.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Richard Jefferson is back where he wants to be. His team isn't quite there yet. Jefferson had his best game since returning from ankle surgery, Vince Carter hit the go-ahead free throws with 21 seconds left, and the New Jersey Nets beat the New Orleans Hornets 112-108 on Tuesday night to move into a tie for one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.
 
Fear propels Cavs when LeBron is out

CLEVELAND (AP) - Apparently fear is what makes the Cleveland Cavaliers play so well without LeBron James. Sasha Pavlovic scored a career-high 25 points and Larry Hughes added 25 to lead Cleveland to a season-high sixth straight victory, 124-100 over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Michael Jordan now gets a chance to hire a coach for his basketball team. Jordan, part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, said Tuesday that Bernie Bickerstaff will not return as coach next season, although he will complete this one. He will be invited to stay with the team and remains an "integral part" of the franchise.

Leandro Barbosa matched his career best with his second 32-point performance in three games and the Phoenix Suns improved to 10-1 since the All-Star break with a 103-82 rout of Houston on Monday night.
