LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kobe Bryant got the Los Angeles Lakers off to a fast start with his marksmanship behind the 3-point arc. He won it for them at the free throw line. Bryant scored 43 points, including six foul shots in the final 20 seconds, and the Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 101-96 Friday night to record their first three-game winning streak in more than two months.
 
Barry gets hot as Spurs trip Trail Blazers

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Scoring hasn't been Brent Barry's role since joining the San Antonio Spurs, but he can still make shots when called upon. Barry made the first seven 3-pointers he attempted and had 15 of his 23 points in the second quarter to lead the Spurs over the Portland Trail Blazers 98-79 Friday night. He needed to score as Tim Duncan was held to just nine points, his lowest of the season.
 
Nuggets close in on division title

DENVER (AP) - Carmelo Anthony is having a memorable March. Anthony scored 31 points and moved the Nuggets closer to winning the Northwest Division title with a 117-104 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday night.
 
Bulls trip up Hornets to end losing skid

CHICAGO (AP) - The role was familiar to Ben Gordon. So was the result. The NBA's top sixth man as a rookie last season, Gordon scored 25 points to help the Chicago Bulls snapped a four-game losing streak with a 96-82 victory over the slumping New Orleans Hornets on Friday night.
