NEW YORK (AP) - The San Antonio Spurs' victory over the Detroit Pistons in seven games in the NBA Finals drew a championship series record 141,416 fans, and helped the league set a record for total attendance in a season.

The man who once called himself the Big Aristotle was the tallest and most famous of the 2,200 University of Phoenix graduates at the arena.
