Thompson's 22 leads Comets over Mystics

HOUSTON (AP) - Tina Thompson made up for the worst game of her career in a big way. Thompson scored 22 points to help the Houston Comets beat the Washington Mystics 83-76 Thursday. She also hit a turnaround jumper with 2:11 remaining to start a 10-0 run to end the game. Thompson went 9-of-16, two days after scoring two points and shooting 1-of-12 in a 73-57 loss to Connecticut.
