PHOENIX (AP) - Nikki Teasley hit two baskets in the final 1:24 and the Washington Mystics rallied from a 17-point deficit on Sunday night to beat the Phoenix Mercury 81-78.
 
Storm use 19-0 2nd half run to down Lynx

SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle coach Anne Donovan wanted to her players to hold off Minnesota star Seimone Augustus. While Augustus scored 16 points in the third quarter, the WNBA's second-leading scorer was held to 24 for the game as the Storm used a 19-0 second-half run on Saturday night to defeat the Lynx 92-75.
 
Stojakovic agrees to terms with Hornets

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The New Orleans Hornets made the first splash of the NBA's free-agent signing period, agreeing to terms Saturday with three-time All-Star Peja Stojakovic. Stojakovic, who last week opted to become a free agent instead of continue playing for Indiana, will sign a five-year deal worth about $64 million with the Hornets, said his agent, David Bauman.
 
Nuggets' Anthony gets maximum offer

DENVER (AP) - Carmelo Anthony wasn't scared off by a front office and locker room filled with turmoil, and agreed to a maximum contract extension with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
 
Holdsclaw helps Sparks beat Mystics 80-75

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Chamique Holdsclaw scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Mwadi Mabika added 19 points as the Los Angeles Sparks held off a fourth-quarter rally on Saturday night to defeat the Washington Mystics 80-75.
