NEW YORK (AP) - Larry Brown's agent said Wednesday he expects the unemployed coach to make a decision on his future in the next couple of weeks, and the New York Knicks are already hard at work trying to persuade the 64-year-old nomad to settle down at Madison Square Garden.

The Detroit Shock coach got into an argument with Connecticut coach Mike Thibault at the end of his team's 66-57 victory on Wednesday.

Pistons let Brown go, reach settlement

DETROIT (AP) - Larry Brown is out as coach of the Detroit Pistons. Brown and the Pistons reached a settlement Tuesday on the final three years of his contract, Pistons spokesman Matt Dobek said. He now is free to coach another team next season, said Dobek, who declined to provide further details.
 
Storm defeats Liberty 87-78
