Monarchs sweep Comets in Western finals

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Yolanda Griffith scored 19 points and Kara Lawson had 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists Saturday, leading the Sacramento Monarchs to a sweep of the Western Conference finals with a 74-65 win over the Houston Comets.
