Monarchs beat Sun in Game 1 of WNBA Finals
Sep 15 2005 7:32AM (CT)

The Connecticut Sun guard had just played 25 minutes with a broken bone, but it was disappointment, not pain etched across her face. Yolanda Griffith and the Sacramento Monarchs had just handed the Sun a 69-65 loss in the opener of the best-of-five WNBA Finals.
