HOUSTON (AP) - LeBron James watched another open shot clang off the rim, then screamed as he turned and trotted down the court. It was that kind of night for the Cleveland Cavaliers _ so bad, it almost ended up in the record books.
 
Jazz win wild one over Sonics 109-107

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Mehmet Okur hit a 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left to help the Utah Jazz hold off the Seattle SuperSonics 109-107 on Saturday night. Ray Allen scored 20 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, including a drive past Andrei Kirilenko for a layup with seven seconds left that gave Seattle a 107-106 lead.
 
Pacers can't slow Melo as Nuggets win

DENVER (AP) - Carmelo Anthony scored a season-high 38 points and J.R. Smith hit five 3-pointers in the Denver Nuggets' 121-101 win over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.
 
Raptors hold back Knicks for 103-100 win

NEW YORK (AP) - Sam Mitchell kept encouraging his Toronto Raptors to stay relaxed as New York fought back in the final minutes. T.J. Ford didn't need to hear to the message. Ford had 20 points and 10 assists, and turned back the Knicks on a number of occasions down the stretch as the Raptors held on for a 103-100 victory Saturday night.
 
Carter scores 41 to lift Nets over 76ers

Spurs escape with 100-98 win over Kings

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Bruce Bowen scored a season-high 23 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 100-98 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. Bowen hit six 3-pointers as the Spurs went 11-of-22 from behind the arc. Tim Duncan added 18 points and 11 rebounds and Tony Parker scored 18 of his 20 points in the first half.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - With the game on the line, Orlando coach Brian Hill drew up the right play and Grant Hill executed it perfectly. Grant Hill scored off the inbounds pass with 1.5 seconds left to give the Magic a 91-89 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.
 
Suns continue home dominance of Bucks

PHOENIX (AP) - As they have for nearly two decades now, the Suns beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Phoenix. This one, though, was tough. Shawn Marion scored 27 points, 12 in the fourth quarter, and grabbed 14 rebounds to help the Suns hold off Michael Redd and the rest of the Bucks 122-116 on Friday night.
 
Mavs win 12th straight after 0-4 start
