Devils' 3rd-period rally beats Thrashers

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - Scott Gomez and the New Jersey Devils finally found a way to beat the Atlanta Thrashers. Gomez and Sergei Brylin scored power-play goals 28 seconds apart in the third period to lead the Devils to a 2-1 win that snapped New Jersey's six-game losing streak against the Southeast Division-leading Thrashers.

Selanne's hat trick sparks Ducks

DALLAS (AP) - Usually, two goals are enough to satisfy Teemu Selanne. But Thursday night was different for the Anaheim Ducks' top scorer. Selanne's had his 19th career three-goal game and Andy McDonald registered four assists to send the Ducks to a 5-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Thursday night.
