WASHINGTON (AP) - Despite a three-game losing streak and a power play that has been struggling lately, the San Jose Sharks didn't panic when they fell behind by two goals against the struggling Washington Capitals.
 
Sabourin beats Ducks for 1st NHL win

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - The Vancouver Canucks won another close game thanks to the brilliant work of rookie goalie Dany Sabourin and an untimely penalty against the Anaheim Ducks.
 
Stastny nets 2 as Avalanche beat Flames

DENVER (AP) - One goal won't get Colorado Avalanche forward Marek Svatos out of coach Joel Quenneville's doghouse. But it's a start. Svatos scored the winning goal 1:24 into the third period and Paul Stastny had two goals and an assist in the Avalanche's 4-3 win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.
 
Resurgent Blues win their 4th straight

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Andy Murray saw something in his players that caught him by surprise. The St. Louis Blues won their fourth consecutive game, 5-4 in a shootout against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. However, after the game, Murray's players weren't in a celebratory mood.
 
Senators give Murray his 600th victory

OTTAWA (AP) - Bryan Murray almost had to wait for another night to join an exclusive coaching fraternity. Former Oilers Dean McAmmond and Mike Comrie scored in the shootout, and Mike Fisher had a goal and assist in regulation, to lead the Senators to a 4-3 win Tuesday night over Edmonton for Murray's 600th career win.
