ATLANTA (AP) - Coach Bob Hartley knew what to expect from Keith Tkachuk and Alexei Zhitnik when the Atlanta Thrashers acquired them in recent trades. Hartley was less familiar with Eric Belanger and Pascal Dupuis, but he likes what he sees so far.

DETROIT (AP) - Robert Lang broke out of a slump and Nicklas Lidstrom reached a couple of milestones. Lang had a goal and three assists, and Lidstrom got his 200th goal and two assists to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 6-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night.
