ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Travis Moen scored his first NHL short-handed goal, Doug Weight connected for a power-play tally, and the Anaheim Ducks broke a club record with their eighth straight home victory, beating the Vancouver Canucks 4-1 on Wednesday night.

CHICAGO (AP) - Cam Ward made 25 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, and Eric Staal had a goal and two assists to lead the surging Carolina Hurricanes to a 3-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.
