ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Scott Niedermayer scored with 2:32 remaining in overtime to lift Anaheim to a 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars on Friday night and clinch a playoff spot for the Ducks.
 
Oilers beat Avs for 1st win in a month

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Marty Reasoner had the lone goal in shootout and the Edmonton Oilers snapped a 12-game winless streak by knocking off the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 Friday night for their first win in a month.
 
Weaver lifts Kings past Blackhawks 2-1

CHICAGO (AP) - Los Angeles defenseman Mike Weaver took advantage of a rare opportunity on Friday night. Weaver, playing in just his 32nd game this season, scored his first power-play goal in the NHL with 3:29 left in the third period to snap a tie and lift the Kings to a 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
