Wild defeats Canucks 2-1 in shootout

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Mikko Koivu had to wait just two days for his chance to make up for a costly mistake. Koivu scored the only shootout goal Friday night, leading the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. Two nights earlier, he watched from the penalty box as Vancouver scored a power-play goal with 6.1 seconds left to win by the same score.
