Canucks' Bertuzzi traded to the Panthers

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - The Florida Panthers acquired forward Todd Bertuzzi in exchange for goaltender Roberto Luongo as part of a five-player trade with the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night.

Thornton edges Jagr in NHL MVP voting

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Joe Thornton edged out Jaromir Jagr again. Thornton, who beat out Jagr for the scoring title by two points, took the Hart Trophy as the NHL's MVP on Thursday with Jagr again relegated to runner-up.
