ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Samuel Pahlsson scored a tiebreaking short-handed goal with 10:58 left in the third period to lead the defending champion Anaheim Ducks to a 6-3 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Monday night.
 
3-goal surge lifts Sharks past Canucks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Joe Pavelski, Joe Thornton and Jonathan Cheechoo scored in a 3:20 span early in the third period to break open a tie game and lift the San Jose Sharks to a 4-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.
