Kunitz, Selanne lift Ducks over Coyotes

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - After the first three-goal game of his NHL career, Chris Kunitz tipped his hat to teammate Teemu Selanne. Selanne, closing on 500 career goals, passed up scoring chances Sunday night and set up his linemates instead. He finished with a career-high five assists in the Anaheim Ducks' 6-4 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes.
 
Jagr scores 600th as Rangers win 4-1

NEW YORK (AP) - Jaromir Jagr scored his 600th NHL goal and Henrik Lundqvist made 27 saves to help the New York Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1 Sunday night.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - With Jonathan Cheechoo sidelined, the San Jose Sharks got their offense from almost everyone else on the team. Patrick Rissmiller and Milan Michalek scored in the opening 5 minutes and the Sharks kept up the pressure from there, getting points from 12 players in a 6-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night.
 
Oilers beat Red Wings in shootout, 4-3

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Raffi Torres salvaged a win that the Edmonton Oilers almost threw away. Torres scored the game-winner in the shootout to help the Edmonton Oilers beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 on Saturday night.
 
Staal's trick lifts Carolina over Stars

Senators end Sabres' run with 4-1 win

OTTAWA (AP) - Once the third period came, the Ottawa Senators made quick work of the Buffalo Sabres' record-setting road winning streak. Peter Schaefer and Dany Heatley each had a goal and an assist, and Ray Emery made 23 saves as the Senators beat the Sabres 4-1 Saturday night and handed Buffalo its first road defeat in 11 games this season.
 
Arnott gives Predators 4-2 win

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Jason Arnott is more than just a goal-scorer. That is a good thing since he hadn't found the net in seven games. Arnott scored two power-play goals within 48 seconds of the second period, lifting the Nashville Predators to a 4-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night.
 
Pens shut down Jagr, Rangers in 3-1 win

PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Pittsburgh Penguins disappointed Jaromir Jagr twice on the rink he used to call home. Mark Recchi scored two goals, and the Penguins' defense shut down Jagr and the New York Rangers with a 3-1 victory Saturday night.
 
Budaj, Sakic lift Avs over Wild 2-1

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Joe Sakic has never had much trouble putting the puck in the net during a brilliant 18-year career, except when it comes to shootouts. Sakic notched his first shootout goal in eight tries on Saturday night and Peter Budaj made 28 saves to lift the Colorado Avalanche to a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.
 
Dunham stops 43 shots as Isles win

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) - Mike Dunham made 43 saves the easy way. Dunham, the Islanders backup, looked every bit as sharp as regular goalie Rick DiPietro, and Arron Asham broke a second-period tie, lifting New York to a 4-1 victory against the Florida Panthers on Saturday night.
 
Bruins outlast Capitals 3-2 in OT

BOSTON (AP) - Boston Bruins coach Dave Lewis is feeling so good that he's taking some gambles. Glen Murray scored a power-play goal 2:06 into overtime to lift the Bruins to their season-high, fourth straight victory, 3-2 over the Washington Capitals on Saturday night.
 
Canadiens stifle Thrashers for 3-1 win

MONTREAL (AP) - Cristobal Huet gave a big nod to his defense on a night the Montreal Canadiens honored Serge Savard, one of their best defensemen ever. Huet made 39 saves, and Michael Ryder and Alexander Perezhogin each ended lengthy goal-scoring droughts, leading Montreal to a 3-1 win over the Atlanta Thrashers on Saturday night.
