Rookie Wall impressive in Ducks' 5-3 win

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - When Michael Wall was 11, he attended his first NHL game in Edmonton and marveled at Oilers goalie Bill Ranford and Detroit counterpart Chris Osgood. Now it's Wall's turn, and the rookie made quite an impression in his first game with the Anaheim Ducks.

Drury helps Sabres top Rangers 3-2 in OT

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - The Tampa Bay Lightning looked for a reliable goalie last offseason. They might have found one in Johan Holmqvist. Holmqvist made 22 saves to win for the eighth time in his last nine starts, leading the Lightning past the Ottawa Senators 3-1 on Sunday.

Thornton picked off an errant pass and scored midway through the third period, lifting the Sharks to a 2-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night.

Predators defeat rival Red Wings 6-2

The youth of the defensive unit, led by Kimmo Timonen, the only player on the unit with more than two years of NHL experience, prompted concerns about their ability. Red-hot Perreault lifts Coyotes
