ST. LOUIS (AP) - Given 11 power-play chances, the Nashville Predators finally cashed in. Kimmo Timonen scored on a slap shot on a 4-on-3 advantage with 1:49 left in overtime for a 2-1 victory over the sagging St. Louis Blues on Sunday night.
 
Devils deal Rangers another big loss

NEW YORK (AP) - The defensive-minded New Jersey Devils put on an offensive show at the expense of the New York Rangers. Patrik Elias and Sergei Brylin each scored two goals and Martin Brodeur made 35 saves to hand New York its second embarrassing loss in two days. On Saturday night in Toronto, the Maple Leafs routed the Rangers 9-2.
