Devils deal Rangers another big loss

NEW YORK (AP) - The defensive-minded New Jersey Devils put on an offensive show at the expense of the New York Rangers. Patrik Elias and Sergei Brylin each scored two goals and Martin Brodeur made 35 saves to hand New York its second embarrassing loss in two days. On Saturday night in Toronto, the Maple Leafs routed the Rangers 9-2.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A new coach for the St. Louis Blues didn't change their luck against the Nashville Predators. St. Louis had fallen to Nashville nine straight times, but at first it looked as if things were going to change with Andy Murray behind the Blues' bench.
