CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Sergio Galvan Rey scored in the 72nd minute and rallied the MetroStars to a 2-2 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night. The Galaxy (6-3-1), who are unbeaten at home this season, got goals from Jovan Kirosvki and Cobi Jones, who also added an assist.

United, Earthquakes play to 0-0 tie

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - D.C. United and the San Jose Earthquakes played to a 0-0 tie on Saturday night. The goal-scoring woes continued for each team. San Jose (3-3-5) has scored just three goals in its last six games, while United (3-4-3) has been shut out five times this season, including last week's 2-0 loss to FC Dallas.
