SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Real Salt Lake forward Jeff Cunningham missed what looked like a sure thing in the first minute of play, and Real got no better opportunity the rest of the way in a 0-0 tie with Chivas USA Tuesday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) - It's called 30 minutes of extra time. Ask most players and they call it a half hour of torture. Five of the knockout games at this World Cup have needed 30 minutes tacked on the end. Three of those have ended in penalty shootouts. When they're over, some players crumple to the ground, while others burst into tears.
