CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Francisco Mendoza scored in the 34th minute and Chivas USA held on to defeat the Colorado Rapids 1-0 Saturday night. With the win, Chivas (10-7-12) moved one point ahead of Houston into second place in the Western Conference.
