Abrams scored 18 points and the No. 19 Longhorns stayed in the thick of the Big 12 race with an 80-51 win Tuesday night over Texas Tech.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Wisconsin's first taste of a No. 1 ranking turned sour Tuesday. Even so, the Badgers made no excuses after falling 64-55 at Michigan State in their first game in school history as the top-ranked team in The Associated Press poll.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Suspended Gonzaga center Josh Heytvelt was charged Tuesday with felony possession of a controlled substance, stemming from a recent arrest when police said they found hallucinogenic mushrooms in his car.

Nicole Emery hit a 3-pointer to cap an 11-0 Seton Hall run early in the second half that gave the Pirates (17-9, 8-6 Big East) a 35-34 lead with 15 minutes left.
