CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Washington State center Aron Baynes got off to a slow start this season. So he's going for the big finish. Baynes had a season-high 14 points and six rebounds in the ninth-ranked Cougars' 58-54 come-from-behind victory over Oregon State on Saturday night.
 
Fazekas leads Nevada to 9th straight win

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Nick Fazekas scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead No. 11 Nevada to a 95-81 win over Boise State on Saturday night. Fazekas led five players in double figures as the Wolf Pack won their ninth straight game.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Mac Hopson's jumper with 35.5 seconds to go put Washington State ahead for good and the No. 9 Cougars held off Oregon State 58-54 on Saturday night. Washington State (23-5, 12-4 Pac-10) was coming off a 64-59 loss to No. 23 Oregon on Thursday. The loss slimmed the Cougars' chances of catching UCLA in the conference race.
 
San Diego State snaps BYU's streak at 8

Prowell woke Saturday morning with one eye nearly swollen shut, but still made three second-half 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead the Tigers to an 86-77 victory over No. 25 Alabama on Saturday.
