DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The Mount finally got The Win. Jeremy Goode scored 21 points Tuesday night, and Mount St. Mary's got its first NCAA tournament victory, beating Coppin State 69-60 in an opening-round game with two teams that know a lot about losing.

Clemson extends Purnell through 2014

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Clemson coach Oliver Purnell agreed to a two-year contract extension on Tuesday that could keep him with the Tigers through 2014. Purnell guided the Tigers this season to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 1998. They play Villanova on Friday.
