Arizona State rallies into round of 16

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Second-half comebacks are becoming a way of life for Arizona State. The third-seeded Sun Devils overcame a horrendous start, and later rallied from a 14-point deficit in the final 11 minutes to beat sixth-seeded Louisville 67-58 on Monday night to reach the round of 16 for the second time in three years.

Stanford shocked out of NCAAs again

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Stanford got shocked right out of the NCAA tournament on its home floor again. Alicia Gladden scored the final seven points of an 11-0 run that frustrated the Cardinal and sent Florida State to the first second-round win in school history, 68-61 on Monday night.

Balanced Boilermakers off to round of 16

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Katie Gearlds finally had her big game at Williams Arena, and the well-rounded Purdue Boilermakers are moving on to a bigger stage. Gearlds led second-seeded Purdue with 26 points in a 76-63 win over seventh-seeded Georgia Tech in the second round of the NCAA women's tournament on Monday night.
