SAN ANTONIO (AP) - When the DePaul Blue Demons returned to campus last week, everything felt different. Better, too. Their fourth straight trip to the NCAA tournament, and 11th overall, wasn't over. For the first time, the Blue Demons (27-6) were going to be playing in the second weekend, all because they'd erased a late 11-point deficit and beat Tulsa in the second round.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - By almost every measure, the Villanova Wildcats should be trudging back to Philadelphia, wondering how it all went wrong. They scrapped their vaunted four-guard attack in the opening minutes of the game after seeing it was no match for the taller, heftier Boston College. Allan Ray had one of his more miserable nights, and the rest of Villanova's offense wasn't much better. It took almost 38 minutes for the Wildcats to get their first lead, and even then it was fleeting.
 
Brewer's heroics send Florida to Elite 8

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - These Florida Gators thrive on balance. Naturally, it didn't matter which one of their super sophomores got the chance at the game-winning basket. Corey Brewer made his only second-half field goal count, turning a twisting, falling-down shot into a three-point play with 27.5 seconds left. Brewer's acrobatics lifted the third-seeded Gators to a 57-53 victory over Georgetown Friday night in the Minneapolis Regional semifinals.
 
Villanova rallies from 16 back to advance
