TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Sophia Young's day was special hours before Baylor tipped off against Minnesota in the Tempe Regional semifinals. Young followed an emotional reunion with her mother by almost single-handedly leading the Lady Bears to the NCAA tournament's round of eight for the first time, scoring 26 points and grabbing seven rebounds in a 64-57 victory over Minnesota on Saturday night.

With Deron Williams leading the way, the Illini staged an electrifying and improbable rally to force overtime and then held on to beat Arizona 90-89 Saturday night to win the Chicago Regional.

He and Arizona had come so far, come so close, only to watch an opportunity slip away again. On the verge of making their fourth Final Four since 1994, Arizona fell apart in overtime. So sure-handed all game, the Wildcats never quite got the shot they wanted in the closing minutes, falling to top-seeded Illinois 90-89 in the Chicago Regional final.
 
Louisville tops West Virginia in thriller

In the end, it was hobbling Taquan Dean, tenacious Larry O'Bannon and the Cardinals who wound up with a ticket to the Final Four, rallying from 20 points down for a scintillating 93-85 overtime win Saturday in the Albuquerque Regional final.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - LSU showed again why it is good to be the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Lady Tigers posted their third straight blowout victory against an overmatched opponent, this time beating 13th-seeded Liberty 90-48 Saturday to reach the Chattanooga Regional final. The 42-point margin of victory was the second-largest in regional semifinal history, behind Louisiana Tech's 44-point win over Purdue in 1990.
 
Duke beats Georgia to make regional final

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - If this is Monique Currie's final season at Duke, she's doing her best to keep it going. The All-American junior made four free throws in the final 26 seconds to secure the Blue Devils' 63-57 victory over Georgia in the Chattanooga Regional semifinal Saturday. Second-seeded Duke (31-4) meets top-seeded LSU in the final Monday.

Alando Tucker helped Wisconsin bounce back from a horrible first half, scoring eight straight points during a 13-0 run that gave the Badgers a 65-56 victory over North Carolina State on Friday night and a spot in the NCAA tournament's round of eight.

Primarily using two 7-foot backups and lots of help from smaller guys, the Wildcats harassed Bogut into the poorest shooting game of his All-American season and showed off their depth, spreading their scoring in a 62-52 victory in the Austin Regional semifinals.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - North Carolina won without Raymond Felton _ barely. After the star point guard fouled out, the top-seeded Tar Heels did just enough down the stretch to hold off Villanova 67-66 Friday night, advancing to the regional finals for the first time since 2000.
 
Michigan State upends top-seeded Duke

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Michigan State had the depth and muscle, and coach Tom Izzo finally has his win over Duke and Coach K. Paul Davis scored 20 points and fifth-seeded Michigan State moved within a game of the Final Four with a 78-68 win over top-seeded Duke in the Austin Regional on Friday night.
