COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - It's easy to see Greg Oden swatting shots or Mike Conley Jr. slicing through the lane to make a no-look pass and forget just how far Ohio State has come this season. It started with a leap of faith for a group of stellar recruits who could have picked any school and chose a program staring at NCAA probation.

Unfinished business for Latta, Tar Heels

DALLAS (AP) - Ivory Latta snatched the rebound and immediately looked at the clock. Only 10 seconds left. Just 10 seconds until she was going back to the Final Four. Latta held to the ball and hardly moved a muscle, except to flash a smile that stretched as the clock thinned. Once the buzzer sounded on North Carolina's 84-72 victory over Purdue in the finals of the Dallas Regional on Tuesday night, the senior star threw the ball straight up and ran to join her teammates in celebration.

Still bitter Clemson seeks NIT title

NEW YORK (AP) - The Clemson Tigers walked off the court at Madison Square Garden thrilled to be playing for a title _ and relieved to be done with Air Force. K.C. Rivers scored 19 points as Clemson held on and advanced to the National Invitation Tournament championship with a 68-67 victory over the Falcons Tuesday night.
