MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - Murray State football coach Joe Pannunzio was put on paid administrative leave by the school Friday following the campus arrests of a player and former player on drug trafficking charges.
 
Former Duquesne coach dead at 76

BETHEL PARK, Pa. (AP) - John "Red" Manning, who coached Duquesne's basketball team for 16 seasons and spent 33 years at the school as a player, coach and athletic director, died at 76.
 
NCAA adds 12th game to Division I-A

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Make it an even dozen college football games. Looking to help financially strapped athletic programs make ends meet, the NCAA board of directors approved three measures Thursday, including one that adds an extra football game to the schedule beginning in 2006.
