NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - David Price started playing ball by himself when he was 3 with a plastic bat and ball. He threw tennis balls against the family deck as hard as he could until his father yelled at him to stop. He played catch with his parents. But his father, Bonnie Price, who sat on a bucket to give his son a better target, finally gave up in middle school. His son threw hard, and he was getting hurt.
