Oklahoma to appeal NCAA decision

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - The University of Oklahoma has taken the first step to appealing a ruling by the NCAA that stripped the football team of its 2005 wins and found the university guilty of "failure to monitor" the employment of its athletes.
 
Eller, Phipps, Siemon grateful for Hall

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Carl Eller waited a long time to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It took even longer to get into the college hall. Both waits were worth it, he said.
