Sep 15 2005 1:37PM (CT)
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Florida receiver Dallas Baker sat on the metal bench with a white towel draped over his head and stared at the ground. He didn't want to watch Tennessee's winning drive last season. He didn't want to revisit it this week, either, as the sixth-ranked Gators (2-0) prepared for their Southeastern Conference opener against No. 5 Tennessee (1-0) on Saturday night.

Sep 15 2005 8:00AM (CT)

A new No. 4 makes the big catch for Texax
Sep 15 2005 3:11AM (CT)
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Limas Sweed leaped high to make the catch, juggled the ball and then came down with the touchdown. After a year of simply looking like former Texas Longhorns star Roy Williams in his No. 4 uniform, Sweed played like him as well. His first career touchdown propelled the second-ranked Longhorns to a 25-22 road win over then-No. 4 Ohio State.

Sep 15 2005 12:59AM (CT)
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Reggie Bush has been a blur for Southern California the past two seasons. Now, as he attempts to help the Trojans win a third straight national championship, he's a bigger blur.
