Miami's Meriweather shrugs off 'the hit'

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Nearly two years later, Brandon Meriweather is still dealing with "the hit." Physically, he's long recovered from getting plowed over by West Virginia's Quincy Wilson on Oct. 2, 2003, a play where Wilson caught a screen pass, then barreled through Meriweather's attempted tackle on his way to the end zone to put the Mountaineers ahead with 2 minutes left.
