Tennessee cornerback may be out for season

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee cornerback Jason Allen could miss the rest of the season after injuring his left hip in the No. 17 Volunteers' loss to Georgia, coach Phillip Fulmer said Sunday.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Kellen Clemens threw for 279 yards and Terrence Whitehead ran for 122 to power No. 25 Oregon to a 31-17 victory over No. 17 Arizona State on Saturday night. Whitehead also caught nine passes for 100 yards for the Ducks (5-1, 2-1 Pac-10), who scored 24 consecutive points after the Sun Devils took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
 
No. 20 UCLA outlasts No. 10 Cal, 47-40

No. 1 USC starts slow but drubs Arizona

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Another lackluster start for No. 1 Southern California ended up in a victory that took more time than expected. LenDale White scored four touchdowns, rushed for 179 yards and USC beat Arizona 42-21 Saturday for its 27th consecutive victory.
